Two energetic young dairy farmers who want to experience New Zealand dairy farming in the high performing Canterbury region from the end of July.

The 353 ha farm milks 1,130 cows in a 64-bale rotary shed with automatic cup removers. Bale teat spray and auto drafting are used and the cows are fitted with halter collars. Accommodation provided on farm with competitive rates of pay. Your duties will include milking, picking up calves, tractor driving and general farm tasks. The role, based on a farm located near Oxford, North Canterbury, starts on July 20 up until November 20, and would also suit someone who is interested in silage contracting after this role has finished.
